The Construction Management program at Edmonds Community College is accredited by the American Council for Construction Education. The program is one of eight similarly accredited associate degree programs in the United States.
We offer several courses of study designed to prepare students for professional careers in the construction industry.
Our curriculum focuses on business and project management, estimating, inspection, and construction related computer applications. The program is designed primarily for people who are presently employed or have previous experience in some phase of the construction industry. Since the program is geared to the needs of the working person, most Construction Program courses are offered in the evening.
Students may take one or two classes to supplement existing job skills or may pursue a more formal course of study.
We offer:
- Construction Project Management Certificate
- Building Inspection Certificate
- Associate of Technical Arts Degree in Construction Management.
- Individualized programs are available to students who plan to pursue baccalaureate and master degrees in Construction Management.
We do not offer pre-apprenticeship or building trades classes. Prospective students with little or no construction experience should take Construction Industry Training (CIT) classes first or concurrently with selected Construction Management Department classes.
